Stupid things that in reality you shouldn’t be doing but probably due to your over zealous attempt to build strong biceps you might have forgot. Listen building a nice body and good biceps is all about finesse as well as brute work. That’s what people forget and end up with torn biceps. You're supposed to work hard but you're trying to isolate a muscle so if you don’t take care of finesse you're going to end up looking like an enraged monkey in the gym So what should you do to not end up with torn biceps? First and foremost. Stick tight to form. Too many of us break form to much. It's understandable and actually required to cheat in order to really push your biceps to its limits and I am all for that. But when people refer to cheat reps the mean using minimum momentum to get the job done. The problem begins and the torn biceps start when people start using there whole body to lift. Bending their backs and jerking the weight around. This how torn biceps are made and you don’t want one. The next thing you should avoid in order to escape torn biceps is over training. Some people think that the more they train a muscle group the bigger it will get. Now it some sense that is right but don’t abuse the logic. Training biceps four times a week is not going to make it bigger don’t be fooled that will just give you torn biceps. Overtraining is a lead cause for torn biceps. You need to limit training days to maximum of two and you should have at least 72 hours of rest in between them. It's all about quality not quantity.
