The use of a band in biceps training has gained significant popularity in recent days. The band offers "right" resistance when you need it. Let me explain more.

In any lift that you do, there is a negative phase and a positive phase. The negative phase is the phase where you are bringing the weight down. The positive phase is when you are bringing up. So for example lets take the biceps. In the bicep curl. The negative phase would be when you are lowering the weight down to the starting position the positive phase would be when you are curling it. So what does that have to do with a band?

Let me explain more. You see you are much stronger in the positive phase. Think about when you are curling the bar there is a certain point in the middle of the curl. A point which if you cross you can continue the curl with relative ease. That is because you are much stronger on the positive end. But in bodybuilding. You need to go through the positive and the negative. So what happens is that you usually fail due to the weakness of the fibers in charge of the negative phase. What the band does especially for the biceps is overload the positive phase as well. How?

Well when you lower the bar the resistance of the band reduces due to the fact that it is not stretched as much. But when you curl it up and you take it to the positive end. The resistance actually increases but this time on the positive end. This way your biceps get a full workout. The fibers in charge of the negative end get a full workout and the fibers in charge of the positive fibers get a full workout. Thus you see how a band can do wonders for your biceps training.

It is actually a very smart concept to add a band to your biceps routine. The improvements and the explosion of growth in your arm can be truly substantial because you biceps are not used to this kind of attack. If you have never used a band before then you your biceps have never experienced that kind of detailed pressure. What that means is that this new form of attack can do wonders for your biceps. Anything new, anything the body is not used to can cause it to have a positive reaction and explode into growth. Especially an attack as detailed and as specific as this one.

Plus a band is cheap and can be purchased at any sport store. So it is an extremely effect weapon you might want to consider adding to your biceps routine.

You can add the band to any biceps exercise. From the bicep curl to the preacher curl, even a hammer axe curl. The band can be applied

So if you are not using a band for your biceps workout then you need to start. It can not only help you explode some new growth into your biceps. But it might actually help crush through some annoying plateau that might be plaguing you.

The band a new weapon to your arsenal. Start training now.
